So I had my interview today at 2, and I guess it went well. I mean... I GOT THE JOB. 8D It's only seasonal until February running their calendar kiosk, but there is a chance that I'll be able to work in the store afterward. So I'm crossing my fingers!
The job pays $7.50/hour, which isn't bad. Not what I'd optimally like, but hey, it's money. And I've got to start somewhere. Plus! I now get a 33% discount on books, 20% on DVDs, and 25% on CDs! I CAN LIVE WITH THAT. Feeding my addiction to manga and anime JUST GOT EASIER. OwO
I go on Monday for training from 1-4pm, and then I start on Tuesday from 9:30-5. I AM STOAKED. I'll be on my feet a lot, but Alix said it would be okay to sit for a bit if needed. And I'm good at entertaining myself, so it's all good. So long as I pay attention to the customers, it should go well. :3
I can't wait! PAYCHECKS. 8D

Congrats! If I had to work in retail, I think a book store would be my ideal store. I hope you like working there. When it's not busy you can always thumb through some of their merch.
