I can run a cash register! OwO

So today was my first day of work, technically, even though it was only to train. And fill out paperwork. I wasn't the only newbie either, well kinda, but my coworker who had also just been hired was training then too. Only difference between me and her was that she used to work there, just left for college. LOL

So I had to read up on the sexual harassment policy, and about the dress code and stuff, and it was all really simple things. Nothing major. The major part is running the cash register, which honestly, I find hella fun! LOTS OF BUTTONS! OwO Oh how I love buttons... x3

We worked in training mode at first, and then we took turns helping customers. So in the end, we really did have to work at some point in time during the three hours we were there. And it was fun! And although we were hired to run the kiosk down by Spencers, sometimes we will get to work in the store for a change of pace.

Man, I really hope I get to stay on past February!!!

One customer commented on my sunburn too. LOL

It turns out my coworker, Caitlin, is also an anime and manga lover. And a gothic lolita fan. We are gonna get along great. Hell, we already do. *w* I'M SO HAPPY.

Then I came home today, and was talking to Brendan, and jokingly went "HEY, BUY ME WAMPUM. IT'S ONLY $200+!"

And... he said he would. OO;;; I kinda feel bad because like... I was joking. Excited! But sad. x'D That kid is almost too nice. LOL THAT'S A LOT OF MONEY! :O I should have asked for the clothes... >.>;; NAH! WAMPUM IS SO MUCH COOLER!

Then when I told Kizzy about this... she goes...
"INDIANDS DONT NEED MONIES! PAY THEM IN CORN AND LIVESTOCK!!"

EPIC QUOTE IS EPIC. Oh god, I laughed so hard when she said that. x3 And she's not being mean, we both love Indians. It's just funny. LOLOLOLOLOL

And by Indians, we're talking Native Americans for those of you who don't remember history and wampum and are thinking something else.

But yes, I am really happy with my job. Not with my sunburn, that my own body decided to aggravate by raising my arms over my head while I slept and pinching and rubbing the burn on my neck. ;_; STUPID BODY.

God... I can't wait for the burn to be gone. x_x
