The Ring of Fire

So last night, before my hearing went lol, I went up to Sacandaga Lake at the Providence Beach to see the Ring of Fire. Every year on Labour Day weekend, usually Sunday, all the people and businesses with beach front property have HUGE bonfires. So the whole lake is lit up. And when I say HUGE, I mean, 20ft high or more huge. OwO

I did take some photos, so I have them to share. It was amazing, and full of illegal fireworks. Due to poor planning on my part, I was not able to capture said fireworks on camera. I forgot my spare battery on the charger at home and the one I was using died on me. Oi. But I did get my first panorama, and let me tell you, stitching it together didn't go as smoothly as I wanted... I don't think I'll be doing many other panoramas, kthnx. lol But it was a good time anyways.

The fire they did on the beach though, holy shit... it FELL OVER. I was like, a good 50ft or more away and could feel the heat from this thing, and it lit the whole beach up like a sunset. But when it fell... I think my heart stopped. LMAO So lucky that no one was hurt, lemme tell ya.

What I would love to do, is get photos from the air during this. But sadly, the plane would be going too fast... unless we buzzed the lake of course >.> I'm sure I could find a pilot crazy enough to do that. Hehe

So we'll see. Still a really fun event!
